In October of 2012, a group of model railroaders met at a downtown Glendale hobby store and decided to build an HO scale railroad modeled after "The Peavine", a route of the Santa Fe, Prescott and Phoenix Railway. This route ran from Ashfork to Phoenix. A section of the abandoned roadbed became Peavine Trail in Prescott
The layout at the City of Tempe History Museum was a modular layout that could built, displayed and then dismantled and stored for future display. The layout modeled the entire state of Arizona from the high country of the Mogollon Rim to the Sugar beet Factory in Glendale. It was on display during the summer and fall of 2017.
The layout at he Arizona State Capitol Museum modeled the state of Arizona displaying sixteen Arizona cities in addition to displaying the Five C's of Arizona (Cotton, Citrus, Cattle, Copper and Climate.
Our latest layout project again models the state of Arizona. The layout is state of the art digital technology and will include a state of the art experience. The entrance to the layout display is through a world class recreation of the Grand Canyon at Grand Canyon Village
