Mission Statement
The purpose of the ARHS is to promote and preserve Arizona heritage, describe and display the history of Arizona railroading and educate current and future generations about Arizona history and the railroads that serve the state.
The ARHS supports and promotes the National Model Railroading Association (also a 501(c) 3 organization) by being a 100% NMRA organization and by actively pursuing the status of Master Model Railroader for any who wish to achieve it.
We are honored and more than excited by the opportunity to create that world class railroad experience in the Arizona State Capital Museum in downtown Phoenix.

The exhibit, located on the second floor of the Arizona State Capitol Museum is open during normal museum hours on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
